JAM Fund: JPows CX Nationals Championship Shirt

Jeremy Powers teamed up with Rapha and the Pros Closet to sell a commemorative shirt, celebrating his national championship titles. Do You Have Your Death Before Discs T-Shirt?

Tired of the industry always switching technology up on you? Sick of hearing those squealing disc brakes on the cross course behind you? Or hearing people talk about how “cantis suck?” Don’t like the added weight? Or having to bleed them? Or maybe you just don’t need ’em. “Cross bikes look so great with cantis!” What’s next? Dropper posts? Suspension? Full face helmets? Baggies? Where does it end? Downhill crossie races? Is it just too much? Why don’t the Europeans use them? Don’t fondo my crossie, bro!

Whatever the reason, I couldn’t help but be stoked on these new Death Before Discs shirts, even if, yeah, disc brakes aren’t so bad. Scoop up a shirt or a sticker pack at Death Before Discs and remember guys, it’s all in good fun…

The Radavist Raidō Rider Longsleeve T-Shirt

Raidō, or “the ride”, and Algiz, or “protection”, two runes from the Elder Futhark which hold special meaning to the Radavist. Depending on orientation, these runes’ meaning can change, so the inverted pattern ensures a safe journal and arrival. With the Talisman on the back and the Jackal on the front, this shirt has all the markings of the Radavist.

Printed on American Apparel black longsleeve tees with eco-friendly discharge ink here in Austin by Industry Print Shop, these shirts are $40 shipped to the USA only! Sorry to international orders, but with the holidays rapidly approaching, I want to ensure people can receive their orders in time.

Pick one up below! SORRY SOLD OUT!

Mike Flanigan Closes ANT to Work for Seven Cycles

Mike Flanigan Closes ANT to Work for Seven Cycles

Last month, Mike Flanigan made the announcement that he’ll be closing the doors to ANT and accepting a welding position at Seven Cycles. Mike is very much tied to the Boston-area and frame building, originally working for Fat City Cycles and more recently, opening a small frame-building school of his own, all while making his “Alternative Needs Transportation” bikes.

The Northeast is the US’ backbone for framebuilding and it’s sad to see Mike close ANT, but I’m glad to see he’ll still be making frames.

If you’d like to help Mike out with his relocation costs, he’s selling commemorative shirts, hats, chainrings and head badges as a meager fundraiser. Head over to the ANTBikeMike blog for more details.

The New Topo Designs Apparel is Bike Friendly!

Sure, it’s not technically “bike wear” but I’ve still enjoyed wearing, riding in and camping in the new Topo Designs apparel. With a newly improved fit, the shorts feel better and the flannels are an amazing companion during fall camping trips.

This is all I wore for two days and couldn’t be happier. See more at Topo!
