Light Sleeper: A Review of the Understated SCOR 4060 ST

SCOR has been a bit of an enigma ever since they emerged in 2021 as a more aggressive offshoot of BMC. So far, they make just one bike in two travel configurations, plus an e-MTB and a couple of kids’ hardtails. It’s a short lineup, even for a brand this new and niche. But there’s something about the clean, understated design and techy VPP-style linkage that makes it seem like SCOR must be destined for greater things. So, Travis Engel brought in the trail-focused 4060 ST to find out whether its beauty is only skin-deep.

BMC URS LT Features a MTT Suspension Fork and Delivers 20mm of Travel

BMC’s URS platform is a very interesting one and it just got more intriguing with the announcement of the URS LT. This new model features a MTT suspension fork that offers 20mm of travel at the lower bottom bracket cup. Kind of like a Head Shok from Cannondale. BMC then tuned the geometry of the URS to what they call Gravel+. Check out the new URS LT at BMC.

The BMC URS Aluminum AL One

The BMC URS AL ONE is the most affordable in the URS line at $2,599, which saves hundreds over the URS ONE carbon chassis model ($2,999). What’s interesting about the two models is the aluminum URS has a slightly different geometry, due to the tubing used and the URS AL ONE has a size XS available. Check out all the details at BMC.

BMC’s Roadmachine X Is a Sleek All-Road with Rack and Fender Mounts

With the popularity of all-road, light tourers, and other drop bar bikes, it seems the design features once only found on bikes like Salsa and Surly, has trickled to the larger brands. The latest to throw their cap in the ring is BMC, with their Roadmachine X all-road. BMC’s distinguishable profile is applied to a do-it-all drop bar bike, with extra braze-ons for racks and fenders.
