Salsa Cycles Stormchaser GRX 810 1x SUS $3,499
The Stormchaser GRX 810 1x SUS is a gravel bike with suspension for the most challenging terrain. The 6066-T6 alloy frame with Class 5™ VRS and RockShox Rudy XPLR suspension fork team up to drastically reduce chatter on the roughest roads and trails. Alternator Flat Mount dropouts allow for 1x geared drivetrains or easy, solid single speed setups (with single speed plate, sold separately). Mounts for water, food, and accessory storage let you go far and wide in places with few resupply options. If you regularly ride pothole- and rut-ridden gravel or want to weave rugged fire roads into your routes, Stormchaser GRX 810 1x SUS is up for it.
Mission Workshop Long Sleeve Women’s Mission Pro Jersey $215
The LS Mission Pro Jersey is a long sleeve, three-season top that is perfect as a stand-alone piece for the spring and fall or layered with a wind/rain shell on brisk winter days. As with the Mission Workshop short sleeve jersey, the LS version is made in Italy and designed to provide a sleek fit with second-skin comfort, no matter your body type or position on the bike. The slightly thicker fabric features a brushed interior for comfort and warmth while maintaining its exceptional breathability and quick drying.
Orbit 360’s rideFAR Cycling Challenge
Last year our friend and frequent contributor, Ryan Le Garrec, documented his participation in the Orbit 360 #rideFAR. The virtual event, which is a philanthropic DIY cycling challenge, is once again open for registration.
#rideFAR is about being social, with a fair degree of challenge. This challenge is not only about competition, it is about using the extraordinary distance, that we – as passionate cyclists – cover every year, for a good cause. The donation-based entrance fees will be used to support cycling-related non-profit organizations who pass on a piece of self-determination, freedom, and quality of life to others through mobility.
Your participation fee will be donated to people who pass on a piece of self-determination, freedom and quality of life to others through mobility. While the members of the Faradgang repair unwanted bikes and hand them out to people in need, Bikeygees offers cycling lessons for (refugee) women. Velafrica and World Bicycle Relief have a similar impact. Just on our neighbour continent. Their mission is to create access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities in developing regions of the world where distance is a challenge through the power of bicycles. Last but not least, we will forward the donation to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund that supports humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled.
VOTEC, komoot, CRAFT and ENJOYYOURBIKE don’t just applaud on the sidelines. They will contribute to the good cause by adding another 10% of the rider’s donations.
2021 BMC URS 01 Two Gravel Bike on The Pro’s Closet’s Inside the Ride
The team over at our parent company, The Pro’s Closet, recently dropped this informative video as part of their Inside the Ride Series featuring the 2021 BMC URS 01 Two Gravel Bike.
Is this TPC’s most elegant gravel bike? Or is it the most versatile? Maybe both, because BMC packed a ton of features into this Swiss Army bike known as the URS. On this episode of Inside the Ride, Clint shows you the details, from the SRAM Eagle AXS “mullet” drivetrain to the Micro Travel Technology to the oh-so-sleek cockpit.
